S.A.I.L. (Stay Active & Independent for Life) FALL PREVENTION CLASSES
A strength, balance and fitness class for adults 65 and over
Now at First Baptist Church of Maryville
Strength, balance and flexibility, vitally important in everyday life and in fall prevention.
This class will help you improve your ability to feel stronger and more stable. You will
move your whole body through a complete series of standing and seated exercises designed
to increase strength, flexibility, balance, and range of movement. Chair support is offered to
safely perform a variety of exercises seated and standing. Strength exercises may include
hand held weights, ankle weights, and using your own body’s resistance while also using your
core muscles to improve balance and stability.
